CareOne of the most forgiving houseplants there is. Keep it warm, out of drafts.

The Chinese evergreen is the quiet workhorse of the sunroom — patterned silver-and-green leaves that bring color down low where the big plants leave a gap. It’s one of the most forgiving houseplants I own: it tolerates lower light, shrugs off the occasional missed watering, and just keeps looking lush. The only thing it won’t forgive is cold, so it stays well away from any winter draft.
