General care

Alocasia Loco grows best in bright filtered light, stable warmth, and a compact pot filled with a chunky aroid mix. It stays upright and compact, so it does not need a moss pole or stake.

Water and humidity

Let the top 1–2 inches dry before watering, then allow the pot to drain completely. Bottom watering is recommended. Maintain at least 60% humidity to reduce browning along the ruffled leaf edges.

Growth and propagation

Feed gently during active growth and expect slower growth in winter. Propagate by separating a rooted division or healthy corm while repotting.
